DSW Scholarship MSU 2023-24, Apply Online, Check Last Date

DSW Scholarship is a flagship program of Maharaja Sayajirao University which provides financial assistance to meritorious but economically weaker students for higher education. The program was introduced by the then Vice Chancellor and Higher Authority during the academic year 2012-2013. Students who secured admission in Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, obtained 55% marks in the previous examination and also having family income of Rs 3.5 lakhs or less will be assisted under this initiative. Applicants must pay an application fee of Rs.200 while applying for the scholarship. After submission of application the students will be selected through personal interview.

DSW Scholarship 2023-24

Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda invites online applications for DSW Scholarship for the academic year 2023-24. Online application for academic year 2023-24 started on 23rd May 2024. Students seeking financial assistance/fee waiver and/ freeship under DSW scholarship are advised to visit the @https://dsw.msubaroda.ac.in portal to apply for the scholarship by 6th June 2024.

MSU DSW Scholarship Eligibility 2024

Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to be eligible for the MSU DSW Scholarship 2023-24.

• The scholarship is available only to regular/enrolled students of Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.
• Annual income of the applicant’s family (including all members) should not exceed Rs.3,50,000.
• Applicant should have secured at least 55% or above marks in previous examination, 50% marks in case of SC/ST/PH/SEBC students.
• Applicants receiving/received any other scholarship/financial grant/fee waiver will not be eligible.

DSW Scholarship MSU 2023-24 Application Process

• First go to https://dsw.msubaroda.ac.in portal.
• Now select the ‘For New User Registration Click here’ option.
• Choose ‘Eligibility Information’ as per your preference.
• On Next, click the Submit button.
• Next step is to create your own username, password.
• Fill the registration form as per your requirement.
• Then, click on the ‘Register Me’ button.
• Enter the username, password you created and press Login to continue the application.
• Upload required documents (as mentioned).
• Pay the application fee (Rs. 200/-).
• Cross check all the details and finally click on Print Registration Form.

To apply for the DSW Scholarship applicants must posses the following documents.

• Applicant’s recent Passport size Photo
• Specimen Signature
• Salary Slip or Latest Income Certificate of guardian
• Previous Year’s Mark Sheet
• Identity Card or Government ID Proof
• Admission Fee Slip ( 2023-24)
• Electricity bill of residence (Latest)
• Copy of Bank Passbook
• Disability Certificate issued by Civil Surgeon (if necessary)
• Death Certificate of parent ( if applicable)

Terms and Conditions

• For online application, students must visit the official MSU website.
• The applicant has to pay an online application fee of Rs.200 (non-refundable).
• Incomplete application or improper documents may result in rejection of application.
• The scholarship/financial assistance will be granted for ‘two’ semesters which will not be automatically renewed. Students must submit a new application to continue financial aid.
• Students from minority communities need to visit the Nation Scholarship Portal (NSP) to avail the benefits.
• SC/ST/SEBC category students should visit Digital Gujarat Scholarship Portal (https://www.digitalgujarat.gov.in/).
