GP Birla Scholarship 2024-25 is an initiative established by GP Birla Education Foundation to support students financially. In the following article we will discuss about its eligibility criteria, application process, last date and amount.

GP Birla Scholarship 2024-25

GP Birla Scholarship is a Merit-cum-Means Scholarship given to the students of West Bengal state. This scholarship is sponsored by GP Birla Education Foundation Trust to encourage meritorious students to pursue higher education. Students who have successfully passed Class- XII examination with good academic score from WBCHSE or ISC/CBSE board are eligible for the scholarship, but their annual family income should be less than 3 lakh rupees. Selected students will be given ₹ 50,000 per year and a one-time additional ₹ 7,000 for purchase of books.

GP Birla Education Foundation invites online applications for the scholarship academic year 2024-25. Students who fill the eligibility criteria are requested to visit the official website @https://gpbirlaedufoundation.com and submit the application form by 15th August 2024.

Eligibility for GP Birla Scholarship

in order to apply for the GP Birla Scholarship for the academic year 2024-25 one must meet the eligibility criteria mentioned below.

• Applicants (female/male) must be domicile of West Bengal.
• Applicants must have cleared Class- XII examination in 2024 and have secured 85% marks from WBCHSE/ 90% from ISC/CBSE board,
• Students belong to a family that having income less than 3LPA (three lakh per annum).
• The maximum family income criteria for students with extra merit may be relaxed in certain cases at the discretion of the Trustees.

Amount and Benefits

Under the initiative of GP Birla Education Foundation, a limited number of applicants will receive financial assistance which will help them cover tuition and hostel fees. The scholarship amount will be sanctioned to the selected scholars on an annual basis till the completion of the current course.

• Fill out the the following details carefully in the application form.

• Next, enter Educational Details such as Passing Year, Marks, Name of School.
• Now upload documents as precise format and size.

Selection Process

Since it is Merit-cum-Means scholarship students will be selected on the basis of their merit. In the first step, all applications will be reviewed by a panel of experts. The shortlisted candidates will then be called for an interview. At the final stage, the selection of candidates will be done by the expert panel.
