Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) was established in the year 1950 by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. The main objective of Indian Council for Cultural Relations is implementing policies and programs regarding India’s external cultural relations. By this program mutual understanding between India and Other countries developed. The “ICCR Scholarship Scheme” is one such program that offers students to study in various levels. Students are not only from India, but from other countries studying in India can also apply for this scholarship. Students from different categories/divisions/disciplines (UG, PG, Ph.D., MBBS) can apply and take the benefit of this scheme. ICCR Scholarship 2024-25 Overview
The administrative body of ICCR Scholarship scheme is Indian Council for Cultural Relations. Every year around 3000+ scholarships has been offering to students. One of the best points in this scholarship scheme is students from other countries (other than India) studying in India can apply for this scheme. There are 21 schemes available under ICCR Scholarship 2024-25, MEA, and Ministry of Ayush and so on. Students from different levels such as Engineering, Arts, Commerce, Political Science, Philosophy or any courses comes Under Graduate( UG), Post Graduate (PG), Doctorate can apply. The online application for ICCR Scholarship opened on 4th April 2024, and last date to apply for the scholarship for the academic year 2924-25 is 31st May 2024.

Eligibility Criteria for ICCR Scholarship 2024-25
A student must fulfill the following eligibility criteria to avail the ICCR scholarship benefits, which are:
- Student must be a citizen of one of the eligible countries and must have a valid passport.
- Student age must be between 18 years to 30 years (for UG/PG) and 30 to 45 years (for PhD).
- Student must have finished the required level of education with qualified marks (60% and above).
- Student should have 6.5 in EILTS or 90 in TOEFL or equivalent.
- Student should not have any serious disease ( serious medical condition/ infectious disease).
- Student should have good command over English communication.
- Student should not be working anywhere.
- Student should not be already pursuing/studying in India.
- Student must obey the rules and regulations of ICCR, Indian Government and Institution.
ICCR Scholarship Amount
The amount covered by Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) Scholarship is given below:
- ICCR scholarship covers Full tuition fees of any course.
- Every month Under Graduate students get 18000/- rupees, Post Graduate student get 20000/- rupees and Ph.D/M.Phil student get 22000/- rupees.
- Contingent grant of rupees 5000/- per annum will be received by UG students, rupees 7000/- per annum will be received by PG students, rupees 12500/- per annum will be received by Ph.D./M.Phil students
- It also covers Medical Insurance 9Up to Rs. 5,00,000 per year)
- Student get amount for Accommodation.

- Atal Bihari Vajpyee General Scholarship Scheme:
- This scholarship will be awarded to undergraduate/postgraduate levels and for pursuing research to foreign students belonging to Asian and Latin American Countries.
- Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Commonwealth Scholarship Scheme:
- This scholarship will be awarded to undergraduate/postgraduate/doctoral and Research courses in Indian Universities to the students for Commonwealth Countries.
- Nehru Memorial Scholarship Scheme for Sri Lankan nationals”
- The scholarship schemes are awarded to Sri Lankan nationals covering all UG courses including engineering and excluding medical courses.
- Dr. S. Radhakrishnan Cultural Exchange Scholarship Scheme:
- This scholarship will be awarded to students pursuing undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses.
- Lata Mangeshkar Dance & Music scholarship Scheme:
- ICCR Scholarship Scheme for Studies in Indian Culture.
- Silver Jubilee Scholarship Scheme for Nepal:
- Implemented by Ministry of External Affairs, under which 64 scholarships are offered to Nepalese nationals under Agency Work on behalf of MEA.
- AYUSH Scholarship Scheme:
- This is meant for BIMSTEC (Thailand, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and Myanmar.) Countries. This scholarship will be awarded to Indian traditional medical system such as Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy.

Process to Fill ICCR Scholarship Application Form 2024-25
To apply for ICCR scholarship student can follow below mentioned steps:

Visit the Indian Council for Cultural Relations Scholarship official website https://a2ascholarships.iccr.gov.in/.

Click on “Registration” from main menu and select “Applicant registration” option.
3rd
Click on “Please sign up here” link under “Login form”.
4th
Enter all the details such as personal details, academic details, course details and other details.
5th
Select at least Five (5) universities listed by ICCR as per your choice and give priority to each of them as per your preference.
6th
Upload all the required documents such as Mark sheet, Passport, English proficiency test scores, Bio data, personal statement etc.
7th
Review the ICCR application, SUBMIT it, and wait for confirmation Email from ICCR.
8th
If you get selected, continue with other process like, preparation of visa, transportation etc.
