Kotak Kanya Scholarship is a collaborative programme sponsored by Kotak Education Foundation and Kotak Mahindra Group companies respectively. This programme only available to female students who are pursuing professional graduation courses. The primary objective of the programme is to encourage meritorious female students and help them pursue higher education. Every year, Kotak Mahindra Education awards this scholarship to empower promising students to pursue higher education and achieve their goals.
Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2024
Kotak Kanya Scholarship is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project related to education and livelihood, initiated by Kotak Mahindra Group Company in 2021 and subsequently implemented by Kotak Education Foundation (KEF). In many situations, girls are forced to drop out of school due to financial constraints, to avoid this disastrous situation, KEF has established the Kotak Kanya Scholarship to empower female students to pursue higher education and meet their needs. Under this project, an annual financial assistance of Rs. 1.5 lakh is provided to the students who wish to pursue higher education after class 12.

This scholarship is open to students who secured 75% or 7.5 CGPA in the class 12 board examination and have a family income of less than Rs 6 lakh per annum. Eligibility for Kotak Kanya Scholarship
One must fulfill a number of requirements in order to be eligible for the Kotak Kanya Scholarship, which are mentioned below:
- This scholarship is solely open to girls students.
- The applicant’s family’s income should not exceed Rs 6,00,000 per annum.
- Applicant must have secured 75% marks or obtained 7.5 CGPA in the Class 12th board examination.
- Students whose parents work for Kotak Mahindra Group, Kotak Education Foundation, or Buddy4Study are not eligible.
- Student must be a regular student and enrolled in the first year of the Professional graduation program in the 2024-25 academic year.
- Students pursuing PG courses such as Engineering, Medical, Integrated LLB, Design, and Architecture are also eligible.

Benefits and Amount
Under the Scholarship Programme, the Kotak Education Foundation provides financial assistance to meritorious girl students.
