Raita Vidya Nidhi Scholarship 2024
Karnataka Government has introduced Raita Vidya Nidhi Scholarship to provide financial assistance to the children of farmers of Karnataka state. The purpose of the scholarship scheme is to support students financially and help them achieve a successful future. Under Raita Vidya Nidhi Scholarship scheme, an amount ranging from Rs 2,500 to Rs 11,000 are provided. This scholarship open to students who are residents of the state of Karnataka and belong to a family whose parents are professional farmers.

Objective of the Raita Vidya Nidhi Scholarship
The primary objective of the the scholarship is to offer an extensive or integrated platform that would enable students from farming-oriented households to continue higher education without facing financial challenges. The purpose of this scholarship is to support education among children from rural communities who frequently encounter barriers to continuing their education. The government wants to increase the percentage of farmer children and students in rural areas by introducing the Raita Vidya Nidhi Scholarship. It is believed that this program would help raise the literacy rate in rural areas.
Eligibility Criteria Raita Vidya Nidhi Scholarship 2024
- The student must be a bona fide resident of Karnataka .
- Applicant’s father/mother must be a farmer and should earn livelihood by this profession.
- Applicant should have passed class 10th examination from recognized School registered either under central or state board.
- There will be just one course for which the scholarship is awarded. Upon completion of a particular course, the scholarship will be terminated if the student enrolls himself/herself for any new programmes.
- Recipients of any other scholarship are also eligible to apply for Raita Vidya Nidhi Scholarship 2024.

Eligible students who wish to apply for the Raita Vidya Nidhi Scholarship can fill the scholarship application form online through the state scholarship portal.
- First visit the https://raitamitra.karnataka.gov.in portal.
- From the homepage, under Online Services, select ‘Scholarship Program for Farmer Children’.
- Then applicants will be redirected to SSP portal.
- Now tap on Click here to Create New Account.
- Carefully enter your Aadhaar Card Number, Name (as per Aadhaar), and Captcha code.
- After that agree ‘Declaration’. Following that, click on Proceed button.
- Enter user ID, password and captcha code to login.
- Now choose ‘Apply for Post Matric Scholarship’.
- Enter Personal Details, Education Details and Cast Details, College an Hostel details .
- Subsequently, you need to upload every necessary document.
- Cross check the application form and click on “Submit” button.

Applicants must have Farmer Registration and Unified Beneficiary Information System (FRUIT) ID to apply for Raita Vidya Nidhi Scholarship 2024. If you have forgotten your Fruit ID, follow the below procedure to find it.
- First navigate to https://fruits.karnataka.gov.in.
- To sign in to the FRUITS dashboard, tap on ‘Citizen Login’.
- Now, enter the registered mobile number and password.
