The Government of Karnataka has started State Scholarship Portal (SSP Scholarship Portal). The scholarship giving to the needy who is undergoing study. Students can apply for Pre-Matric Scholarship, Post-Matric Scholarship. The concerned authorities involved in this scholarship scheme are, Post-Matric grant SC-ST, Minorities Welfare Department, Scheduled Welfare Department and Backward Classes Welfare Department. These departments offer different scholarships through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). The candidate belongs to any category like SC, ST and other minority categories. The Last date for SSP Scholarship for academic year 2024 is 30’th June 2024.

SSP Scholarship 2024

SSP Scholarship organized by Karnataka Government for backward students of the state. SSP Pre-Matric Scholarship is for the students who pursuing class 9th and 10th and Post Matric Scholarship is for those studying in class 11th and above. Students belonging to the minority category like SC, ST, OBC and other backward classes get the opportunity to continue their studies through Pre, and Post scholarships. To facilitate the backward students Government of Karnataka has decided to introduce SSP i.e. State Scholarship Portal, on this portal students can register and apply online for these scholarships.

• Registration in KUTUMBA portal is mandatory for the students who apply for scholarship in SSP.
• To complete the application successfully, candidate’s academic details must be available in either UUCMS portal or the UNIDATA server.
• If the student applying as Hosteller, it is necessary to provide information regarding hostel registration and these details must be available in State Hostel Portal (SHP) or SSP.

Who Can Apply for Karnataka SSP Scholarship 2024?

The students studying first standard to SSLC can apply for Pre-Matric Scholarship. Students of Pre University, Under-Graduation and Post-Graduation students can apply for Post-Matric Scholarship. SSP Karnataka stimulates students to apply for Fresh Application and Renewal Applications and provides details regarding SSP Scholarship status.

Eligibility for SSP Scholarship 2024

• Candidate must be resident of Karnataka.
• Income must be within the eligible limit.
• Student annual family income should be less than Rs 2,50,000.
• Students must have a KUTUMBA / SATS ID.
• Students belonging to SC/ST/Minorities Community/Kin of Defense personnel (Technical Education).

SSP Scholarship 2024 – Benefits & Amount

• Students of M.Phil. Will get rupees 8000 for their examination.
• Students of Ph.D. will get rupees 10000 for their examination.
• The Post-Matric grant covers the educational expenses, a monetary award and other instructive costs.

SSP Scholarship Registration 2024

SSP scholarship can be applied through online mode only. For this you have to register on ssp.karnataka.gov.in portal. The last date to apply for SSP Pre Matric and Post Matric SCHOLARSHIP is 30.06.2024.

Process to Apply Online on SSP Scholarship Portal

To apply for the SSP scholarship, follow the BELOW steps:

SSP Pre-Matric Scholarship 2024: For Fresh Application

• Students kindly Visit SSP portal, which is accessible at ssp.karnataka.gov.in/
• Click on “CLICK HERE TO APPLY FOR PREMATRIC SCHOLARSHIP 2023-24”.
• Click on create New account [if fresher/ first time applying]
• Enter Student SATS ID and click on “GET DATA”.
• Go through the information given on page and click on SAVE AND PROCEED.
• New page opens with details, Click on YES.
• Next, if you have Aadhaar number click on Yes. [ If not have go to nearest center and get enrolled for Aadhaar].
• Enter Aadhaar, Name [ as in Aadhaar],Gender of candidate.
• Enter the captcha, Click on check box to agree the terms and then press Proceed button.
• Here, you find family details. Select the relationship with family members correctly. Click on NEXT.
• Insert Email-Id and Mobile Number and SUBMIT.
• Enter the OTP received your registered mobile number and then click on SUBMIT.
• Create New password [ to Login SSP account] and SUBMIT.
• New page opens with the message “Account has been created successfully in SSP!”
• After registration go to LOGIN and enter username, password and captcha.
• Click on Login button.
• Once the website opens click on FILL APPLICATION.
• Start filling all the details required on each and every page with necessary documents.

Note:

1. IS PARENT ENGAGED IN UNCLEAN OCCUPATION? Yes/No [it means if student’s father or mother working for daily wages, agriculture etc. click on Yes and if student’s parent working in government sectors or any other job, click on No]
2. Keep ready all the necessary documents mentioned above before apply.
3. If student going to school from home, then select “Day _Scholar” and if the student is going to school from hostel, then select “Hosteller”.

Finally PREVIEW the application and then click on FINAL SUBMIT.

Note: If the FINAL SUBMIT button is not open to student that means your Aadhaar number is not
linked to your bank account. Make sure your bank account is linked to Aadhaar number, the amount will be directly credited to your bank account.

Download Permission Letter, Print and fill the details accurately. Print the Acknowledgement of application letter. Submit Permission letter, Acknowledgement letter, all documents attached in application to the respective schools.

SSP Post-Matric Scholarship Application Process 2024

Step 1:	Visit ssp.postmatric.karnataka.gov.in portal.
Step 2:	Create Account with Aadhaar Number, Name, Gender and other details.
Step 3:	After Registration click on LOGIN menu and enter Username, Password.
Step 4:	Click on Post-Matric Scholarship.
Step 5:	Read all set of instruction, click on OK button.
Step 6:	There are major the Steps. Fill all information carefully and accurately.

1. STUDY/CASTE/PERSONAL DETAILS: Information regarding student academic details, his/her income and caste details, Personal information like father name, mother name, Aadhaar number etc.
2. STUDENT COLLEGE DETAILS: Complete information regarding academic details like college name, board, percentage etc.
3. E-ATTESTATION DETAILS: Electronic signature to attest each and every document will be submitted.
4. HOSTEL DETAILS: If student is hosteller, provide all the information regarding Hostel expense, address etc.
5. PREVIEW and SUBMIT: Once filling Application finished, PREVIEW whole document, Validate and SUBMIT.

SSP Scholarship RENEWAL Process (Post Matric)

• Step 1: Visit the State Scholarship Portal, ssp karnataka.gov.in and login
• Step 2: Click on Login
• Step 3: To know your student ID, enter your registered mobile number [last year used] and click on GET STUDENT ID
• Step 4: Enter username, password and captcha
• Step 5: Click on STUDENT LOGIN
• Step 6: Click on “Apply for Post-Matric Scholarship”
• Read all terms and conditions and click on OKAY
• Step 7: There are major 4 Steps. Fill all four steps carefully and accurately.

1. STUDY/CASTE/PERSONAL DETAILS: Information regarding student academic details, student registration number, his/her income and caste details, Personal information like father name, mother name, Aadhaar number etc.
2. STUDENT COLLEGE DETAILS: Complete information regarding academic details like college name, board, percentage etc.
3. E-ATTESTATION DETAILS: Electronic signature to attest each and every document will be submitted.
4. PREVIEW and SUBMIT: Once filling Application finished, PREVIEW whole document, Validate and SUBMIT.

Download, Print the Acknowledgement and submit to respective college with all uploaded documents[ marks cards, photo, other documents].

Process to Check SSP Scholarship Status 2024

We are about to display how to track your online application form and check your Scholarship Status. If you are already registered with the SSP Scholarship Portal, you will have an application number or ID. All you need to do is follow these methods:

• First, you should go to the official website of the SSP Portal, i.e. https://ssp.karnataka.gov.in/.
• Wait for the page to load properly, click on Student Login from the menu.
• New page opens here with several options, Click on Track Student Scholarship Status option.
• Login with your username, Password and enter captcha.
• After that select student status report, wait for next page to open.
• Enter Academic Year, your SATS ID and click on the SEARCH button.
• Here, candidates can view all the details regarding their application status.
