Swami Dayanand Scholarship is a Merit-cum-Means scholarship awarded by Swami Dayanand Education Foundation. Under this scholarship, students who are enrolled in professional courses like Engineering, Medical, Architecture, or graduate courses like BA, B.Com, BSc, BE/BTech, BSc, MBBS, B Pharm will be given financial assistance. The scholarship will also be awarded to those students who have overcome financial constraints and secured a decent rank in the National/State level entrance examination.
Swami Dayanand Merit-cum-Means Scholarship 2024
Swami Dayanand Educational Foundation is about to start its 9th Merit cum Means Scholarship Program. It is an initiative of Swami Dayanand Educational Foundation (SDEF) which aims to provide financial assistance to students who are academically meritorious but are having a tough time financially. The selected students will get an annual amount of Rs 50,000. Applications for the academic year 2024 will be opened from 9th June 2024. Eligibility Criteria
- Students family income should be less than Rs.8LPA.
- Applicant must be either in 1st or 2nd year, and age should be 19 yrs or 20 yrs respectively.
- Students have have achieved 80% plus marks/ 70% marks (for other board) or at least 8 CGPA in Class –XII examinations.
- Students enrolled in professional courses (such as engineering, medical, and architecture) or other under graduate courses in government and private universities in India, are eligible.
- 50% scholarship’s reserved for female students.
Scholarship Benefits
Under the Swami Dayanand Merit cum Means Scholarship 2024, students would receive financial assistance up to Rs.50,000/- per year for till the competition of the course. The funds will only be transferred to the Institute’s bank account. Students selected for the scholarship will receive the following amount.
