The Government of Gujarat has launched the Gyan Sadhana Scholarship for students of grades 9th through 12th, which aims to provide financial assistance to deserving students and help them overcome financial hurdles and achieve their goals. A total of 25,000 scholarships are awarded each year under this scholarship program.
Gyan Sadhana Scholarship 2024
Gyan Sadhana Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship launched by the Government of Gujarat. Students who are permanent residents of Gujarat and studying from 9 to 12, will get the scholarship also students must maintain 80% attendance. Not only this, students must also appear for a competitive examination conducted by the State Board of Education.

Online application for the scholarship was opened on January 29 and continued till February 12. The Gyan Sadhna Scholarship Exam was conducted on 30th March 2024 and its provisional answer key was released on 6th April 2024. Candidates who have appeared for the exam are now waiting for their result which is expected to be released in April/May 2024.
Eligibility for Gyan Sadhana Scholarship 2024
Applicants must fulfill the eligibility criteria to avail the benefit of the Gyan Sadhana Scholarship scheme.
- Students should be a bonafide resident of Gujarat State.
- Applicants must be enrolled in 9th through 12th grade.
- The student’s family income must be 1.2 LPA for rural areas and 1.5 LPA for urban areas.
- Students must maintain atleast of 80% attendance.
- Also, they have to qualify for the scholarship exam.

Gyan Sadhana Scholarship Amount
The amount disbursed under the CM Gyan Sadhana Merit Scholarship Scheme is ₹20,000 and ₹25,000 for classes 9/10 and classes 11/12 respectively.

Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria of the Gyan Sashana Scholarship are advised to apply for the scholarship through the State Examination Board portal. They can follow the steps mentioned below to apply for the scholarship.
- To start with the application process, go to https://sebexam.org.
- From the homepage select ‘Apply Online’.
- Next enter your UID Number, then click on ‘Submit’.
- Wait for the details to be fetched, the application form will be displayed.
- Provide your personal details such as category and others.
- Enter current school address information
- Enter scheme preference and other details such as medium of the exam, parent’s mobile number.
- Upload certificate, photo and signature in specified format.
- Finally, click on ‘Submit’ button and confirm it.
Steps to check Gyan Sadhana Scholarship Result 2024
Candidates appearing for Gyan Sadhana Scholarship Exam 2024 are advised to check the result on the official website after the results are published. They will have to enter the confirmation number and other details to check the result. Follow the steps below to check the results.
- First Visit the official portal of State Examination Board of Gujarat (https://sebexam.org).
- After that, navigate to ‘Print Result’ section.
- Choose ‘Chief Minister Gyan Sadhana Merit Scholarship Examination’.
- Then enter Confirmation Number and Date of Birth or Adhaar UID Number.
- On the next step tab on ‘Submit’ button.
- Now you can able to view your result, and take a printout of it.

How to Check Gyan Sadhana Scholarship Merit List?
The candidates who participated in the scholarship examination are now eagerly waiting for the release of the merit list. The list contains the names of successful candidates. Gyan Sadhana Scholarship Syllubus and Exam Pattern
The Gujarat Gyan Sadhana Scholarship Examination is an online examination with multiple choice question pattern and the medium of examination is English and Gujarati. The total score of the exam is 120 which is divided into SAT (80 marks) and MAT (40 marks).
